CYBERSPACE, WARFARE AND THE WARFARE'S GENIUSES
Stuxnet, Flame, DuQu... such names will soon replace the names of conventional weapons. In 1999 two Chinese colonels, Wang Xiangsui et Qiaa Liange, theorized in the famous « War Without Limits » that cyber will become a major weapons of our century. Nowadays, the famous unit 61398 of the People's Army, in charge of cyberwar, seems to count around 200 000 members. I 2007 Russia cyberstricked Estonia in reaction to an anti-soviet action in the streets of Talliin. The Pentagon for its part statued in 2011 that any cyberattack against the US territory will be considered as an act of war followed by real military counter-strikes. From the European side, the European Parliament voted in April 2013 a new mandate to the ENISA, the European cybersecurity agency, by rising its human and financial supports. This highlights that Europe is now truly aware of the threats and can't underestimate their economical and military importances.
